2001–2010 Studies in Art History, Educational Studies and Philosophy at the Universities of Tübingen and Rome. 2009–2010 Scholarship with the Forum Scientiarum, University Tübingen. 2010 Master’s degree (Diplom) with the thesis “Pragmatismus und Kunstgeschichte. Der Beitrag der Kunstgeschichte zur kulturellen Bildung” (supervisor: Prof. Rainer Treptow). 2011 Master’s degree (Magister) with a thesis entitled “Von neuen Sternen: Vergangenheitsrekonstruktion in Guido Renis Ausfahrt des Sonnenwagens” (supervisor: Prof. Sergiusz Michalski). 2011–2012 Doctoral candidate at the Institute of Art History, University of Vienna, with a dissertation project titled “Andrea Pozzos Langhausfresko in Sant’ Ignazio in Rom. Zur Rekonstruktion historischer Wahrnehmung in der Societas Jesu im ausgehenden Seicento” (supervisor: Prof. Sebastian Schütze). Since 03/2012 Doctoral candidate within the SNSF Sinergia project “The Interior. Art, Space, and Performance (Early Modern to Postmodern)” at the Institute of Art History, University of Bern. Additional courses at the Bibliotheca Hertziana, Max-Planck-Institut für Kunstgeschichte (2009), at the Deutsches Studienzentrum in Venedig (2011) and at the Bibliothek Werner Oechslin (2012).
